About

Sadia Ur-Rehman is a visual artist based in London. Her work is rooted in the local. Her practice explores the complex relationship between people and place.  She is interested in the idea of ‘home’

She creates temporary interventions in spaces, these could last a few hours, days, months or even years. These ‘spaces’ operate as a place for people to meet, share, learn, create, make experiences.

She brings people together, creating encounters and making lasting connections.

Sadia makes site responsive work that initiates conversations and interactions, often bringing people together through events, installation and the use of moving image and text.

Recent projects use tea as a connector to bring people together over the shared experience of a good cuppa and chat to discover, explore and learn new things.
